POWTOON

POWTOON

PowToon is Web-based animation software that allows you to quickly and easily create animated presentations with your students by manipulating pre-created objects, imported images, provided music and user created voice-overs (learn more about PowToon here). Watch this Youtube video to learn how you can use PowToon to create your very own animated presentation.

"I'M LEARNING FROM MY DIGITAL NATIVE STUDENTS..."

Picture
Tok Fen Fen teaches English in Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan St Francis Convent, Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This self-professed digital immigrant teacher uses PowToon to make her English lessons more engaging for her digital native upper-secondary students. As part of her introductory lesson using PowToon, she gave her students the task of creating animated presentations to introduce themselves. Tok Fen Fen was greatly impressed by the students' products. In her own words, "I ended up letting my students teach me about PowToon and how to use it."

Below are some examples of her students' works.
